K-Beauty exports exceeded $7 billion in the first half of 2026, reaching an all-time high. According to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), this represents a 27.3% increase year-over-year compared to the same period last year, demonstrating K-Beauty's enhanced standing in the global market.
In the European market, high growth rates were observed in countries such as Poland (72.8%), the UK (150.6%), and the Netherlands (220.4%). The strong performance of emerging markets is evident, with SME cosmetic exports to Latin America surging by 131.9%. LG H&H also saw its North American sales surpass China sales for the first time in Q2.
K-Beauty has successfully reduced its reliance on specific countries and diversified its markets. With the expansion into new markets, particularly led by the US, K-Beauty can anticipate sustained growth.
